MSN 2, the second test aircraft in the A350 program, has arrived at McKinley Climatic Lab at Eglin Air Force base in northwest Florida for a series of extreme weather tests. The aircraft and its various systems will be subjected to a series of extreme hot and cold temperatures over the next several weeks.
The Florida tests follow a series of similar tests performed earlier this year in the Middle East and Northern Canada. Together, all four test aircraft have completed nearly 1,600 flight test hours with more than 350 flights.

Airbus expects to achieve certification for the A350 by the third quarter of 2014.
